Today I want to post the recipe for my mom, who in turn has learned from my paternal grandmother; sbriciolona the cake with the apples.
You can 'be said that I grew up looking to make this cake, which I obviously have modified, making it even with the jam, and it is a bomb, really!
It 'easy and simple taste, to be the best as a snack or breakfast with a glass of milk.
You can replace the apples with other fruits, which usually lends itself to be cooked, such as quince, pears, prunes, plums and even cherries.
Today I have prepared, in view of tomorrow, a meeting family, with the hope that it will soften the tone, if there is a need to soften them, otherwise, a good snack never hurts, right?

Sbriciolona APPLE CAKE:
(ingredients for a cake of 26 cm in diameter)
Ingredients:
500 g flour 250 g sugar ( decrease the dose to 150 g when using a jam)
150 g of butter into small pieces
2 eggs 1 teaspoon baking powder (16 g)
few drops of essence of bitter almonds
6 or 7 apples (or a jar jam-standard) if you use
apples or fruit, very sweet when cooking:
2 tablespoons sugar 1 cup of water
Procedure:
If you intend to use the jam, skip these steps: Wash and
world our apples, cut them into cubes not too large and possibly the most 'regular as possible (needed for even cooking).

Heat oven to 180 degrees, static, with heat coming from below to above.
line the tin with baking paper and, with the help of hands, a compacted layer of fine crumbs, at least 2 / 3.
Versiamoci over the apples (or jar of jam, which I recommend to buy into large pieces) and sprinkle the remaining crumbs, covering them.
Bake for about 25-30 minutes to see if the cake is cooked, it will be enough 'to see if the supercar will have' browned.
Cool well and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
